《聖誕禮物》
一對貧窮但相愛的夫妻，因為沒有錢為對方買特別的聖誕禮物，所以各自賣掉他們最珍貴的物品，來購買給對方的聖誕禮物：太太賣了她引以為傲的秀髮，為她的先生買了白金錶鍊；而先生賣掉他的金錶為太太買了髮釵。僅管這對夫妻各自捨棄了珍愛的物品，卻收到的錢買不到的珍貴聖誕禮物──愛。
《樅樹》
一棵小樅樹一直不滿於現狀，渴望離開森林，終有一天他被砍下，離開森林成為一棵聖誕樹。在體驗了莊嚴炫麗的聖誕夜之後，他被遺棄在閣樓裡，感到很孤單。一日，當他了解到原本在森林裡單純美好的快樂生活，他決心要感謝現狀。然而卻為時已晚，他已乾枯，被園丁劈成材，丟進爐火中燒盡。
